MDA Issued Warning Letters Against Illegal Housing Schemes
Multan: According to press reports from 2 April 2023, the proprietors of the illegal housing scheme have received a warning letter from the Multan Development Authority (MDA).

According to sources, the responsible authority officials have directed their managers to find Multan’s illegally built housing developments. According to a notice published in a local newspaper on March 30, 2023, the responsible development authority would take harsh action against the developers of illegal housing schemes.
The MDA Director, Dr. Zahid Akram, announced a meeting to assess Multan real estate projects. Mr. Chairman gave his officials instructions to file a FIR against the owners of illegal residential and commercial projects during the meeting.

The relevant authority would also pursue legal action against these proposals, including sealing and property demolition. Mr. Chairman has declared that there would be no tolerance for these illegal initiatives moving forward.
