A nationwide campaign to protect children against measles and rubella will be held in Khuzdar District, Balochistan, from November 17 to 29.
The Health Department announced that all children aged six months to five years will receive free vaccinations against measles and rubella. In addition, oral polio drops will be administered to prevent lifelong disabilities caused by polio.
The campaign in Khuzdar aims to vaccinate 150,256 children, with 227 teams working across 49 union councils to achieve this target.
Authorities emphasized that even children who have previously received the measles and rubella vaccines should be vaccinated again during this drive to boost their immunity.
The Health Department has urged parents and guardians to cooperate fully to protect children from measles, rubella, and polio—diseases that continue to pose serious health risks.
