Minister Wishes Ring Road, Leh Nullah Projects Completed Soon
Rawalpindi: Mian Mehmoodur, the Punjab Minister of Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health, gave the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) instructions to complete the Leh Nullah Expressway and Ring Road projects as soon as possible.

He delivered these instructions while in charge of a meeting to examine the projects of RDA. Other officials, including RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza, Director General Abdul Sattar Issani, General Secretary of the Housing Task Force Atif Ayub, and others, occasionally attended.
RDA representatives briefed Mr. Rasheed on the accomplishments of the municipal organization. According to them, work on the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) close to the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project would also begin shortly, and a PC-1 is being created for the Leh Nullah Express Urban Regeneration Project Management Unit.
According to him, SEZs are being planned to include mining, oil refineries, petroleum, engineering, IT parks, city clusters, business hubs, industrial zones, transport terminals, residential buildings, educational institutions, and health cities, as well as markets for produce, grains, and animals, as well as amusement parks and logistic hubs.
Recognizing RDA’s efforts to provide municipal amenities, he said the agency’s performance in this area is satisfactory.
