Samsung’s long-awaited tri-fold foldable smartphone could soon make its way to global markets, according to fresh leaks. Tech enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for this device since it was first hinted at earlier this year, and new reports suggest it may not be limited to South Korea and China as previously thought.

Sources quoted by SamMobile indicate that Samsung plans to release the tri-fold in the UAE, China, and South Korea initially, with the possibility of expanding to markets like the United States and the United Kingdom later on. While final details on regional availability are still being discussed, insiders believe the company is preparing for a broader global launch.

The tri-fold device, which Samsung first teased at the Galaxy S25 Unpacked event in January 2025, is expected to be one of the most advanced foldables ever created by the brand. Its unique triple-fold design allows users to expand the display into a large, tablet-style screen, combining portability with productivity.

Leaked details suggest that the device could come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16GB of RAM, and a titanium frame, features that place it firmly in the premium category. The tri-fold may also include a 10-inch main display and could borrow hardware elements like hinges and speakers from the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to ensure build quality and durability.

However, reports indicate that charging speeds may be slightly slower than Samsung’s other flagship models. Despite this, the innovation and versatility of the design are expected to make it one of the most talked-about smartphone launches of the year.

Pricing for the new foldable has not been confirmed, but analysts predict it will cost more than the Galaxy Z Fold 7 due to its complex engineering and materials. Samsung is likely to unveil the device officially before the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, possibly within the next few weeks.

If the leaks turn out to be accurate, Samsung’s tri-fold phone could become the world’s first mass-produced tri-fold smartphone, setting a new standard in the foldable market and strengthening the company’s leadership in mobile innovation.
