Murad Performs Ground-Breaking of Road Projects in Balochistan
Federal Minister of Communications and Postal Services, Murad Saeed, has broken ground on three road projects in Balochistan.
The NHA chairman said completion of the project would reduce congestion, cut travel times by 30 to 45 minutes, he said, and save on vehicle operating costs.

He said his 11km Dera Murad Jamali Bypass will be completed at his contract cost of Rs 1456.3 crore. The bypass he will consist of two lanes and will be completed in 18 months. As part of the project, a bridge and 31 culverts will be constructed. Once the bypass is completed, congestion on the Dera Murad Jamali Urban Bypass will be eliminated.
The president of the NHA said the construction of the 162km He Ziarat Mor-Kach-Harnai-Sanjavi road is of great importance. The project, with a contract cost of Rs 8,379.7 crore, he expects to complete in two years. With 12 bridges and 415 culverts, this project will create more than 8,611 jobs for the local people.

Murad Saeed said he has 1100 km of highways planned in the last 15 years. Over the past two and a half years, 3,300 km of national highways have been planned and put into operation. He said the government would make his CPEC dream of a western route a reality and that the route would be completed during the current administration.
He said that work on the Zhob Khuzdar project has started. The minister reminded that the Basima Khuzdar and Hoshab Awaran projects have also been launched.
