Museum Inaugurated at Historical Ram Pyari Mahal
Gujrat: A museum has been formally established inside the historic Ram Pyari Mahal. It was opened to the public after its inauguration.
The industry gallery is ornamented with goods made in the area, especially pottery, which is a well-known industry in Gujarat. Portraits of three Nishan-i-Haider awardees from Gujrat, as well as those of Shaukat Ali, Sharif Kunjahi, and other performers, can be found in the photo gallery.

Another gallery showcases regional art and culture, including Sohni Mahiwal folklore, laborers and masons at work, mud huts in rural areas, and ancient locks and utensils. The ceremony attendees were quite interested in this gallery.
The DC stated that visitors would not be required to pay anything to enter the museum after April 30. After the lockdown, after schools and universities had reopened, student study tours would also be scheduled.
The building was built for Ram Pyari, Sundar Das Chopra’s third wife, in the second decade of the 20th century. Sundar Das Chopra was a contractor from Dingah Town, which is about 55 kilometres from Gujrat.

Once known as Ram Pyari Road, it was later given the name Circular Road and currently passes by the Walled City’s Sohni Bazar, which sells pottery and ceramics.
