The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a public alert regarding misleading and fraudulent videos circulating on social media in the Saraiki language.
In an official awareness message, NADRA clarified that these videos falsely use the name of former NADRA Chairman Usman Yousuf Mubin to deceive citizens. The clips claim that individuals possessing computerized national identity cards (CNICs) bearing their signature are eligible to receive cash prizes.
NADRA has strongly denied these claims, labeling the videos as entirely fake and baseless. The authority stated that the content is a deliberate attempt by certain individuals to mislead the public and exploit citizens through false information.
