The National Database and Registration Authority has announced that all its offices in Islamabad Capital Territory will remain closed on April 9 and 10, 2026, following a local holiday notification issued by the Islamabad administration.
According to the official notice, the closure will apply to all NADRA offices in Islamabad on Thursday and Friday. In addition, NADRA mega centers that normally operate 24/7 will also remain closed from 8 AM on Thursday until 8 AM on Saturday.
However, the authority clarified that its offices in Rawalpindi will continue to function as usual, providing some relief to residents of the twin cities who may require in-person services.
For Islamabad residents affected by the closure, NADRA said several services will remain accessible through the Pak ID mobile application, allowing users to complete certain processes remotely.
The announcement is part of a broader series of disruptions in the federal capital, where authorities have already enforced local holidays, closed educational institutions, restricted heavy vehicle movement, and temporarily shut down public hiking trails due to administrative and security arrangements.
