Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Sunday held Indian Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval directly responsible for India’s recent acts of aggression.

Speaking at a seminar in Lahore, Naqvi revealed that Pakistan had prior intelligence about Indian military planning and was fully prepared. He said that during the air skirmishes, when Indian fighter jets were shot down, Pakistan deliberately delayed public announcements until video confirmation was obtained. “We had footage of all six aircraft,” he said, adding that the move was aimed at preventing India from twisting the narrative.

Naqvi praised the Pakistan military’s performance, stating that strikes were carried out on 36 designated targets, all of which were successfully hit. “Thankfully, we suffered no losses. I salute our military leadership,” he remarked.

The minister stressed that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not the key driver of the crisis. Instead, he pointed to Amit Shah and Ajit Doval as the main figures pushing for escalation, warning that their policies would ultimately lead to India’s downfall.

Highlighting political unity during the standoff, Naqvi credited PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for effective diplomatic efforts, while also accusing India of openly sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan.

On the Kashmir issue, Naqvi reaffirmed Pakistan’s stance, declaring that the struggle would continue until the right to self-determination was achieved.

He also commended COAS Field Marshal Gen Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their firm handling of the crisis. Sharing a lighter moment, Naqvi recalled how Gen Munir told a visiting Saudi delegation:
“India is like a Mercedes, and Pakistan is like a dumper truck. If they collide, one can imagine who will suffer more damage.”
