Oman and Nepal have qualified for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Oman has qualified for a fourth appearance in the competition, while Nepal has advanced for the third time, according to information that leaked on Wednesday. Namibia and Zimbabwe had previously secured their spots in the competition from the Africa region.
Italy qualified for the T20 World Cup for the first time in the ICC Europe Qualifier, and the Netherlands advanced from Europe as well. Additionally, host Canada secured their spot in the event by defeating the Bahamas by 57 runs in the Americas Regional Qualifier.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that 20 teams will compete in the T20 World Cup the following year.
Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies, the United States, and New Zealand are among the countries that have previously qualified by making it to the Super Eight stage of the previous edition, along with hosts India and Sri Lanka.
According to their ICC T20 International rankings, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Ireland have been granted straight entry into the tournament.
Nineteen teams have already qualified, and one position is still up for grabs.
