Nestle Pakistan’s Profit Grows by 49% in First 6 Months
Nestle’ Pakistan generated a sizable profit of Rs. 5.87 billion during the first half of 2021 despite the constraints posed by the pandemic, which is 49 percent higher than the profit reported during the same period in 2020.

The company’s operating profit increased by 24.3 percent over the same time in the prior year as a result of volume growth, overhead cost reduction, and value chain cost optimization activities. Also, the net profit increased as a result of the borrowing costs being reduced.
The first half of the year saw Nestlé Pakistan’s revenue total Rs. 65.8 billion, a 12.7 percent increase over the same period the previous year.

The expansion of revenue was broadly based and supported by marketing expenditures, the introduction of fresh goods, and pricing control. Also, the rise benefited from the past year’s weak base, which was a result of severe lockdowns.
The value of the company’s shares also showed a notable increase, rising from Rs. 85.4 per share to Rs. 127.5 as of this year.
