Apple has released the sixth developer beta of iOS 26, adding new features, performance improvements, and key interface changes ahead of its expected public release in September.

One of the biggest updates in iOS 26 beta 6 is the addition of six new ringtones, all inspired by the famous “Reflection” tone. Among them, “Dreamer” is already getting attention online for its cheerful and uplifting sound.

The Camera app has also been adjusted after user feedback. Apple has reversed the swipe direction change introduced in earlier betas, bringing back the familiar interface. The “Classic Mode” toggle added in beta 5 has now been removed.

App launches feel noticeably faster with new open and close animations, making transitions smoother and more responsive. Apple has also introduced subtle design updates under its Liquid Glass UI, including improved color effects, a refined tab selector, and refreshed Lock Screen visuals.

A new onboarding experience now guides users through iOS 26’s features, showcasing redesigned app icons and updated interfaces.

Early testers say beta 6 feels more stable and responsive compared to earlier versions, though small bugs may still appear as Apple prepares the final release. Developers can download the update now, with a public beta expected soon.
