Islamabad: In accordance with the official notification, the National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced revised toll rates for the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway (M2) that would take effect from August 25, 2023, to August 26, 2024. Vehicles going from Lahore to Islamabad must now pay the new rates because the NHA increased the motorway toll price.
The NHA has increased to Rs. 3.7 per kilometer for each automobile and Rs. 2,590 for autos carrying passengers, according to officials. The cost for the passenger buses will be Rs. 3,690, or Rs. 10.29 per kilometer. The authorities would charge each transport vehicle Rs17.22 per kilometer due to the increase in toll tax rates.
