Nothing has officially confirmed that its next flagship, the Nothing Phone (3), will launch in Q3 2025. This announcement was made by CEO Carl Pei during an AMA session on X (formerly Twitter), narrowing down the launch window to between July and September 2025. The timing suggests the new device could arrive in mid-July, similar to the release of the Nothing Phone (2) on July 11, 2023.

The Nothing Phone (3) follows the recent debut of the Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro, which introduced a range of new features including the Essential Space AI hub. Building on this momentum, the Phone (3) is expected to advance Nothing’s AI-powered platform with deeper system-level integrations. Carl Pei hinted at “breakthrough innovations in the user interface,” pointing to a major software overhaul designed to deliver a smarter and more intuitive user experience.

Rumors suggest that the device will be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC or the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, marking a performance leap over previous models. While detailed specs remain under wraps, the focus appears to be on combining powerful hardware with intelligent software features.

The development cycle for the Nothing Phone (3) has reportedly spanned several months, aligning with the typical 9 to 18-month timeline for smartphone creation as outlined by Pei. The phone is likely to feature enhanced AI tools and improved app integration, particularly with calendar and productivity apps, further differentiating it from other Android offerings.

With anticipation building and the official launch just months away, the Nothing Phone (3) is shaping up to be a major release in the second half of 2025.
