Nothing has officially confirmed that its next flagship, the Nothing Phone (3), will launch in Q3 2025. This announcement was made by CEO Carl Pei during an AMA session on X (formerly Twitter), narrowing down the launch window to between July and September 2025. The timing suggests the new device could arrive in mid-July, similar to the release of the Nothing Phone (2) on July 11, 2023.
The Nothing Phone (3) follows the recent debut of the Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro, which introduced a range of new features including the Essential Space AI hub. Building on this momentum, the Phone (3) is expected to advance Nothing’s AI-powered platform with deeper system-level integrations. Carl Pei hinted at “breakthrough innovations in the user interface,” pointing to a major software overhaul designed to deliver a smarter and more intuitive user experience.

Rumors suggest that the device will be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC or the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, marking a performance leap over previous models. The development cycle for the Nothing Phone (3) has reportedly spanned several months, aligning with the typical 9 to 18-month timeline for smartphone creation as outlined by Pei.
