Olive Plantation in Nowshera to Produce 112,000 Liters Oil
Nowshera: According to our sources, the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Plantation project’s Nowshera Amangarh olive tree plantation would contribute to the production of 112,000 liters. It will be edible oil that is produced annually. It is a project worth billions of rupees after the trees have successfully grown and produced fruit.

On a total land area of 27 hectares, 8,000 olive trees were planted. The remaining plantation consisted of indigenous species such as Phulai, Bher, keekar, etc.
The chosen region provides the best and most ideal soil conditions for olive farming. However, there is a significant problem with less water and precipitation. There are now eleven solar-powered tube wells for irrigation in the neighborhood.

There are 16,000 feet of water pipes constructed in the area to ensure sufficient water supply. The Olive plantation was launched by the Prime Minister, whose primary objective was to promote Olive cultivation.
