Ombudsman Asks FGEHA to Allot Plots to All Left-Over Members
Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) confirmed on Friday that “quite a few” eligible members were unable to be accommodated during the recent balloting for assignment of plots in F-14/15 due to a scarcity of plots.

According to a news statement published by the federal ombudsman’s office, the FGEHA director general informed the ombudsman at a briefing that during the balloting for distribution of plots in F-14/15, “many qualified Cat-I and Cat-II members could not be accommodated due to a lack of plots.”
The ombudsman further instructed that all projects whose completion dates had passed should be finished with the utmost urgency. Moreover, the plot allocation process should adhere to the strictest standards of openness.

The AGEHA director general promised the ombudsman that the remaining eligible members would be accommodated in the subsequent balloting, according to a press release.
