Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi has taken action to resolve the long-standing issue of the e-Protector stamp for Pakistanis traveling abroad for employment or higher education. As a result, the Bureau of Immigration has pitched an e-Protector stamp online service, which is now available at all international airports.

Those traveling to the Middle East or other regions for work must have the protector stamp on their passports. Without it, they won’t be allowed to travel and could even be sent back from the airport. This has led to a loss of both foreign employment opportunities and the money spent on tickets.
To address this, according to the instructions of the federal ombudsman, an online stamp facility is now available 24/7 at all international airports, making it easier for anyone who might still need to get their passport stamped. The e-Protector service at airports guarantees that travelers can get their passports stamped before departure. So far this year, 14,339 Pakistanis have benefited from this service.
This online system aims to decrease the stress of last-minute arrangements and prevent unnecessary delays or missed flights. It allows travelers to complete the process quickly and guarantees smooth travel without the risk of being turned back.
