The Oppo A3 is making its international launch in India after being in China for over a month. The new version of the Oppo A3 comes with updated specs and a new design, making it feel like a different phone while maintaining the same name.

The Oppo A3 features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with 720p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for a fast response. The fingerprint sensor is merged into the side power button, and the phone meets MIL-STD-810H standards for military-grade shock resistance.
Internals and Software
In a change from the Chinese model, the Oppo A3 now runs on a Dimensity 6300 chip, replacing the previous Snapdragon 695 SoC. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be extended with a microSD card. The phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14.
Cameras
The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera and an additional lens, primarily for show. The primary camera can record 1080p videos at both 30 FPS and 60 FPS. The front-facing selfie camera is a 5MP shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout.
Battery and Pricing
The battery capacity has been slightly increased to 5,100 mAh, up from 5,000 mAh, and supports 45W wired charging with a charger included in the box. The Oppo A3 is priced starting at just $191 in India.
