Oppo has officially introduced the Find N6, its latest foldable smartphone, with a clear focus on solving some of the most persistent issues in the foldable category, particularly screen creasing, durability, and long-term reliability. The new device builds on its predecessor with a redesigned hinge, upgraded materials, and flagship-level hardware.
The Find N6 retains a familiar form factor but introduces a second-generation Titanium Flexion hinge that is wider and more robust. Oppo has adopted a teardrop-style folding mechanism to reduce stress on the display during use. To further minimize crease visibility, the company used high-precision laser mapping and advanced polymer layering techniques, significantly reducing surface unevenness. In addition, a new auto-smoothing Flex Glass layer has been added, which is thicker and offers improved shape recovery, allowing the display to return to its original form more effectively after repeated folds.
These structural improvements are aimed at long-term durability. The device is certified to maintain display flatness for up to 600,000 folds and can withstand up to one million folds overall. Oppo has also enhanced protection against environmental elements by introducing IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the display front, the Find N6 features a 6.62-inch LTPO cover screen and a larger 8.12-inch foldable inner display. Both panels support a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 10-bit color. Brightness levels have also been improved, with the outer display reaching up to 3,600 nits at peak and the inner screen up to 2,500 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright outdoor conditions.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16, and Oppo has committed to five years of Android updates along with six years of security support, reflecting a strong focus on long-term usability.
The camera system has also received a significant upgrade. The Find N6 features a 200-megapixel main sensor, accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with autofocus and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. A dedicated True Color sensor has been included to improve color accuracy and white balance. For selfies, the device includes dual 20-megapixel front cameras on both the inner and outer displays.
Battery performance is another key highlight. The device is equipped with a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is larger than most foldables currently available. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, offering both capacity and convenience for daily use.
The Oppo Find N6 is priced starting at $1,400 for the base variant, with higher configurations reaching up to $1,696. The device is expected to become available in Asian markets from March 20, with a broader rollout likely to follow.
With these upgrades, Oppo appears to be positioning the Find N6 as a more refined and practical foldable, aiming to move the category closer to mainstream adoption by addressing durability concerns while delivering flagship-level performance.
