Overseas Pakistanis Joined FBR’s IRIS Portal Filing Tax Returns
According to media sources, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Islamabad has declared that Pakistanis living abroad can now file income tax returns through the IRIS site.

On its website, the FBR has created a URL for electronic filing of income tax forms. Non-resident Pakistanis (NRP) can file their income tax returns through the IRIS site. The authority made this judgment in consideration of the difficulties faced by non-resident Pakistanis when filing their tax returns.

In addition, it was discovered that the deadline for filing income tax returns has not changed. The deadline for filing tax returns remains unchanged at September 30. The IRIS site was made available to tax payers earlier this year on July 1st.
