According to a news source, Pakistan’s government wants to strengthen its commercial relations with Saudi Arabia in order to meet a target of USD 20 billion, noting the existing trade volume as falling short of expectations.
Federal Minister of Commerce and Industry Gohar Ejaz stressed the need for legislative actions to promote bilateral investment between the two countries during his speech at the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum in Riyadh, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce.

Ejaz spoke with Saudi Commerce Minister Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi during the summit about boosting investment, especially in fields like infrastructure, digital economy, and building. Ejaz also emphasized that the Gulf countries and Pakistan are ratifying a free trade agreement.
