Pak VS Saudi Arabia World Cup Qualifier to Play at Different Venue
The opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers second round will take place in Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium in Al-Hasa, Saudi Arabia, between the football teams of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The game has been moved to the city of Al-Hasa from Damman Stadium, where it was originally scheduled to take place, for unspecified reasons.

Capable of accommodating over 20,000 spectators, Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium is the home of Al Fateh, a Saudi Pro League (SPL) football team that features former Barcelona attacker Christian Tello and former Manchester City center-back Jason Denayer.
Pakistan is now awaiting a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) in order to enter Saudi Arabia. The process of obtaining the NOC is still ongoing, according to sources, even though the necessary paperwork was delivered six days ago.
In addition, Otis Khan, a winger, received good news today from the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), allowing him to play for Pakistan. Otis was forced to miss Pakistan’s match against Cambodia in the first round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers because FIFA misunderstood Otis’s Pakistani heritage.

The Pakistan-Saudi Arabia match is scheduled to begin at 9:30 PM Pakistan Standard time on November 16, 2023.
