In a major military development, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has claimed a decisive 6-0 victory over the Indian Air Force (IAF) during a recent conflict, according to a joint press conference held by top Pakistani military officials. Addressing the media, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb, alongside Pakistan Army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, praised the PAF’s operational performance and confirmed the successful execution of Pakistan’s air defense strategy.
Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb highlighted the PAF’s state of readiness, stating that the force acted under clear directives from the Air Chief to defend national sovereignty. He emphasized that the PAF remained fully prepared both in peace and wartime, and exercised its right to self-defense in response to Indian aggression.

Providing details of the engagement, the senior PAF officer revealed that Pakistan’s air defense systems effectively tracked and neutralized all incoming Indian drones and missiles. The PAF utilized a combination of jamming technologies, data disruption tactics, and both soft and hard kill techniques to intercept hostile aerial threats. Notably, the “hard kill” measures were selectively applied in civilian-populated zones to prevent collateral damage.
Aurangzeb disclosed that several Indian BrahMos missiles were intercepted and destroyed mid-air before they could reach their intended targets. He underscored the significance of this success, citing these missile attacks as direct threats to Pakistan’s sovereignty. In a critical revelation, he stated that some Indian missiles fired from Amritsar had malfunctioned and ended up striking Indian civilian areas—marking a significant operational failure.
Meanwhile, Pakistan reportedly deployed hypersonic missiles, drones, and precision-guided munitions to strike specific targets with high accuracy. Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb affirmed that all intended targets were successfully hit during the operation.
The most striking claim of the press conference was that the PAF downed six Indian aircraft without suffering a single loss. According to Aurangzeb, all Pakistani fighter jets involved in the conflict returned safely and remained fully operational.
