By signing the agreement on Sunday, the Pakistani government formally declared that it will be taking part in the annual Hajj trip. The arrangement was approved by Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah Minister Taufiq bin Fauzan Al-Rabiah as well as Pakistan’s Caretaker Religious Affairs Minister Aneeq Ahmed.
Both parties pledged to provide Pakistani pilgrims with the finest amenities possible, which includes offering a designated and reasonably priced area in Mina, which is a crucial destination for the Hajj pilgrimage. Aneeq Ahmed underlined the value of teamwork in order to improve Pakistani nationals’ pilgrimage experience. Ahmed had just returned from a visit to Saudi Arabia with ministry representatives.
In order to choose more than 60,000 Muslims for the government’s Hajj program, Pakistan had previously held elections. Taking into account both government and private operators, the overall allotment for Hajj seats is approximately 180,000. This agreement strengthens the arrangement between the two nations for the impending pilgrimage.
