Pakistan Army Decides to Celebrate 23 March With Simplicity
According to reports, the Pakistan Army has decided to reduce its annual Pakistan Day parade, which is held on March 23 each year, due to the economic difficulties facing the country. This day commemorates the adoption of the 1940 Lahore Resolution and is typically celebrated with a display of military equipment and skills.
The parade will reportedly be held at the Presidency instead of the Shakarparian Parade Ground, as part of the government’s cost-cutting measures under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership. However, it has been reported that the Pakistan Army remains committed to promoting the country’s economic development and supporting its people.

On Thursday, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced that a staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to be reached in the next two days, as Pakistan seeks to resume the stalled IMF loan program. Dar noted that the current government inherited a struggling economy and is working to revive it.
