Pakistan defeated West Indies by 13 runs in the third and final T20I on Monday, winning the three-match series 2-1. The match was played at Central Broward Regional Park, where Pakistan delivered a strong all-round performance to secure the series win.

After winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat first and posted a solid total of 189-4. Openers Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub led the charge with impressive half-centuries. Farhan scored 74 runs off 53 balls, while Ayub made 66 off 49. Together, they built a 138-run opening partnership that set up the innings perfectly. Late cameos from Hassan Nawaz, Khushdil Shah, and Faheem Ashraf helped Pakistan finish with a competitive total.

West Indies started their chase aggressively, reaching 33 runs in just two overs. Alick Athanaze impressed with a quick 60, supported by Jewel Andrew and Sherfane Rutherford, who scored 51 off 35 balls. However, Pakistan’s bowlers kept their cool under pressure. Wickets from Haris Rauf, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Saim Ayub slowed down the West Indies chase. A tactical decision to retire out Roston Chase also worked in Pakistan’s favor, disrupting the momentum of the hosts.

With this win, Pakistan took the series 2-1, bouncing back after losing the second T20I. The victory is an important boost for the team, especially after recent struggles in overseas T20 matches. For the final game, Pakistan made two changes—Haris Rauf replaced Shaheen Afridi, and Khushdil Shah came in for Fakhar Zaman.

This defeat marks the second consecutive T20I series loss for the West Indies, while Pakistan gained a much-needed morale boost heading into future tours.
