During the first five months of fiscal year 2023–24, Pakistan made history by earning $1,151.956 million from a variety of information technology (IT) services supplied to other countries.
A significant increase of 5.89% is observed in comparison to the $1,087.929 million earned during the same time of the previous fiscal year. From July to November 2023, computer services exports increased by 8.17%, from $864.429 million to $935.016 million, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

Software consultation services saw a remarkable 46.67% increase to $2.508 million, while hardware consultancy services saw a 4.15% increase to $331.231 million. This encouraging trend indicates a significant contribution to Pakistan’s economic expansion and emphasizes the country’s rising significance in the international IT services sector.
