Pakistan has Received more than $2Bn Remittances
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, remittances rose by 26% in March, reaching a record high of over $2 billion for the tenth consecutive month.

“Remittances totaled $2.7 billion, up 43% from March 20 and 20% from February. Remittances increased by 26% from the same period in the prior year, reaching a total of $21.5 billion in July-March FY21. On Twitter, the central bank declared that it was a new year.
Imran Khan, the prime minister, expressed his happiness at the development and complimented the Pakistanis living abroad for their “unparalleled devotion and loyalty to the motherland”.

Remittances exceeded forecasts in March and were above $2 billion for the ninth consecutive month, which is a promising development.
