Pakistan made a sparkling debut on the global jewelry and fashion scene at the Health Engineering and Mineral Show (HEMS 2025), held in Lahore. This groundbreaking event featured the country’s first-ever large-scale international Gems and Jewelry Show, jointly organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Ministry of Commerce.
The show attracted international delegations from Europe, Asia, and Africa, signaling growing interest in Pakistan’s untapped luxury sector. Guests praised the impressive display of gemstones and jewelry, applauding the country’s craftsmanship, cultural depth, and design talent.
The runway event became a central attraction, transforming into a powerful platform for showcasing Pakistan’s historic excellence in gemstone mining and jewelry-making. Models wore intricate statement pieces that blended traditional craftsmanship with bold, contemporary styles. The collections reflected the diversity of Pakistani design and the artistry embedded in gold, silver, emeralds, rubies, and other precious stones.

Notable partnerships included Waseem Jewelers with House of HSY, Almas Jewelers with Munib Nawaz, and Heritage Jewelers with Zonia Anwaar. The Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design’s Jewelry and Gemological Science Department teamed up with Lulusar to represent the next generation of talent, merging academic innovation with fashion-forward thinking.
HEMS 2025 went beyond being just a visual celebration. It was positioned as a strategic opportunity to connect Pakistani creatives with international buyers, trade representatives, and fashion media. These interactions opened doors for potential exports, international collaborations, and long-term global recognition.
