A unified Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey will be an invincible force against any global power, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam stated on Wednesday.

In an appearance on Samaa News’ “Nadeem Malik Live” program, he claimed that the Pakistani government and people offered Iran considerable diplomatic support during the Zionist regime’s 12-day offensive against Iran.

“Pakistan’s foreign minister and prime minister both categorically denounced the attack, and Pakistan’s ambassador to international fora continuously supported Iran. The Pakistani Senate and National Assembly also voted resolutions supporting Iran. The ambassador expressed gratitude to Pakistan for their assistance.

According to Moghadam, this recent battle may be the only thing that has bonded the two countries. “Both nations’ governments and citizens have become closer. ‘Thank you, Pakistan’ was yelled by our Parliament, and the Iranian President formally conveyed his appreciation. People carried the Pakistani flag at the funerals of our martyrs in addition to the Iranian flag. He also thanked the Pakistani populace, religious community, and media, saying, “Iran and Pakistan are like one soul in two bodies.”

Speaking to more general geopolitical issues, he stated that Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan all confront similar difficulties, particularly given that the US and Europe support Zionist goals. “They want to establish Israel as the dominant force in the area.

Nonetheless, a strong alliance between Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey is possible. We need to work together to further the good connections that now exist between these countries. He claimed that no world power could compete with them if Iran, Turkey, and Pakistan banded together.

“Pakistan has nuclear weapons, Iran has vast oil reserves, Türkiye holds industrial strength and a pivotal geographic position, being the gateway to Europe, while Saudi Arabia also plays a crucial role,” the ambassador said, highlighting each nation’s strategic advantages.

“This alliance will have an even greater influence if China joins. “These countries need to acknowledge their common interests as well as their threats,” he stated.

According to Moghadam, a solid regional alliance is possible, and there are no significant disagreements between these nations.

He condemned the record of the previous US President Donald Trump, citing historical tensions, including the killing of General Qassem Soleimani.

“Regional escalation was not what we wanted. After five rounds of talks and accepting offers, we were close to reaching a successful agreement. However, on a US signal, Israel conducted a surprise attack shortly before the sixth round, targeting civilians, scientists, and our military leadership,” he continued.

Iranian missile strikes were used in retaliation, he claimed, adding, “Our response turned Israel’s streets into scenes resembling Gaza.” The US then approached the Emir of Qatar to negotiate a truce. “We stated that we won’t stop until your violence stops.

I was not in Iran at the time, thus I am unable to provide a detailed commentary on the nuclear program. However, even experts find it difficult to fully estimate the impact of the strikes due to their considerable damage,” he stated.

Iran has been carrying out these defence drills for the last 15 years, the envoy continued. “They believed that Iran would fall apart if our commander was killed. However, a new commander was chosen the very following day and reacted forcefully. In Iran, nuclear technology is not just found in actual facilities; it is also present in the thoughts of our students and scientists. It is impossible to eradicate this technology. They can, at most, harm our centrifuges,” he insisted.

Moghadam reiterated that Iran and Pakistan will continue to work together. “The border region, which is rugged and challenging terrain, is where we have problems. However, the interests of Pakistan and Iran are more aligned now than they have ever been. Enemies of both countries are providing facilities and weapons to terrorist organisations. However, our nations’ security cooperation is still continuing strong and will continue to do so,” he said.
