Unexpectedly, Pakistan USA match result is heart broken. Pakistan was defeated by the USA in their opening match of the T20 World Cup 2024 at Dallas’ Grand Prairie Stadium.

The USA chose to bowl first after winning the toss. Thus, they effectively achieved a goal of 195 that had previously been set against Canada. 

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, scored 44 runs off 43 balls, while Shadab Khan came next with 40 runs off 25 balls. With his 23 runs off of 16 balls, Shaheen Afridi helped Pakistan reach 159-7.

The most impressive bowler for the USA was Nosthush Kenjige. He finished with stats of 3-30 in 4 overs while claiming three wickets. Also, Saurabh Metravalkar was outstanding. He took two wickets at a 4.50 economy rate.

Monank Patel led the USA with an impressive 50 runs off 38 balls, but Mohammad Amir eventually bowled him. Haris Rauf removed Andries Gous from the game following a productive partnership that saw Patel contribute 68 runs. In the chase, Aaron Jones scored 36 runs off of 26 balls.

Nitish Kumar struck a boundary with the final ball of the game and sent the game into an exciting Super Over. It was the T20 World Cup 2024 second Super Over. 

For Pakistan, Muhammad Amir bowled the Super Over, giving up 18 runs. Pakistan required 19 runs. The USA won their first-ever T20 World Cup after Saurabh Metravalkar bowled the game-winning over.
