Farhan Yousuf will continue as captain of the Pakistan Under-19 team after the Pakistan Cricket Board announced the squad for the upcoming tri-nation series and the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
According to details released on Thursday, the squad features one change, with Umar Zaib replacing Mohammad Huzaifa. Farhan Yousuf has been retained as captain, while Usman Khan will serve as vice-captain.
The Pakistan Under-19 squad also includes Abdul Subhan, Ahmad Hussain, Ali Hasan Baloch, Ali Raza, Daniyal Ali Khan, Hamza Zahoor, Huzaifa Ahsan, Momin Qamar, Mohammad Sayyam, Mohammad Shayan, Niqab Shafiq, and Sameer Minhas.
The tri-nation series, featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and hosts Zimbabwe, will be held in Zimbabwe from December 25 to January 6. The tournament will serve as key preparation ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
The Under-19 World Cup is scheduled to take place from January 15 to February 6, with matches hosted jointly by Namibia and Zimbabwe.
