Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to Further Strengthen Economic and Business Ties
Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia discussed issues of mutual interest and agreed to strengthen economic and commercial ties between the two nations.

While extending a warm welcome, Tarin emphasised that Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan and that the bilateral ties are rooted in religious, cultural, and commercial ties that date back centuries.
He stated that a large number of Pakistani expatriates work in a variety of fields and are a great asset to the country, adding that remittances from overseas Pakistanis play a crucial role in bolstering the economy of Pakistan.
In addition, the finance minister informed the Saudi ambassador of the potential for increased collaboration between the two nations in the fields of agriculture and food security.
The Saudi ambassador stated that Saudi Arabia is opening its doors to foreign investments and emphasised the importance of increasing mutual investments in various fields.
