After winning the Asian U16 Volleyball championship in Thailand, the Pakistani squad has returned to their homeland.
The volleyball squad reportedly used an international airplane to go to Lahore. When the athletes returned to the nation, they were met with an extraordinary response.
Notably, the Green Shirts were still undefeated during the competition.
In a thrilling five-set final earlier, Pakistan had overcome a two-set deficit to upset Iran 3–2 on Saturday to win the U-16 Asian Volleyball Championship.
Details show that Pakistan put up a strong fight after Iran seized the lead early on, and the final score was 22–25, 21–25, 30–28, 25–21, 15–10.
The reigning champions, Iran, had controlled the first two sets but were unable to keep up as Pakistan fought back with tenacity.
