Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Thursday issued a stern travel advisory, asking people to refrain from visiting Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon until the situation stabilizes, in response to growing security concerns in the Middle East.
A representative for the foreign office stated in a statement that Pakistani citizens should avoid visiting the four nations because of the “evolving security situation in the region.”
Additionally, the spokesperson urged Pakistanis who are already living in these nations to use extreme caution, refrain from needless travel, and maintain constant communication with Pakistani embassies.

“Until the security situation improves, Pakistani citizens are advised not to travel to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon,” the official stated. “Those who are already in these nations should stay alert and refrain from any unnecessary travel.”
Following a string of military escalations involving both regional and foreign actors, the advice is issued at a time when regional instability is on the rise.
The FO emphasized the need for residents’ safety but did not name a specific incident that led to the alert.
In order to guarantee that citizens have direct access to aid in the event that they require it, the spokesperson also published an extensive list of phone numbers for Pakistani missions in the impacted nations.
