Due to the Iran-Israel dispute, more than 100 students from Iranian institutions have fled to Pakistan, according to a Sunday Dunya News report.

At least 80 students from Hormozgan Medical University and 97 students from Zanjan Medical University have departed for Pakistan, according to a statement released by the Pakistan International Medical Students Association (PIMSA).

Dozens of students from Tehran’s universities are also moving toward the border, according to the PIMSA. Regarding the current state of affairs for Pakistani medical students studying in Iran, PIMSA claims that the association is in communication with relevant authorities.  They were grateful for the Pakistani Embassy in Iran’s ongoing support and assistance, which has been crucial in guaranteeing the students’ safety.

Additionally, the association called for immediate action to ensure the safe departure of Iran’s remaining students.  PIMSA underlined that every attempt should be taken to guarantee that no student experiences hardship or risk.
