Federal Education Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has launched a new Customer Care Desk (CCD), developed by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), to make life easier for students dealing with certificate verification and other academic services.
Round-the-Clock Access
The CCD comes with a 24/7 online portal, where students can verify their certificates, file complaints, or request services without needing to stand in long lines. Each verification request can be tracked through a QR code system, so students always know where their application stands.
According to IBCC Executive Director Ghulam Ali Mallah, the portal was tested for six months before its official launch. “Our top priority is public convenience,” he said, adding that the system is now fully open to everyone.
Support for Students Abroad
The service also supports Pakistanis living overseas. Students and parents can simply send their queries by email and receive a response within 24 hours—a big relief for those who cannot visit offices in person.
Step Toward Digital Education
Minister Siddiqui welcomed the initiative, describing it as an important step in digitizing education services. He said the new system will speed up processes, improve communication, and bring more transparency to how student documents are handled.
“This is about making education services simpler, faster, and more accessible for every student in Pakistan,” he said.
