The Pakistan cricket team came in India on Wednesday through Dubai and landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
The delegation, which consists of 18 players and 13 support staff, was escorted to the hotel by a security crew in more than 20 vehicles to assure their safety. Just two days after leaving for Dubai, they arrived quickly, and now they are preparing for their Friday practice match versus New Zealand.
Morne Morkel, their bowling coach, and Mickey Arthur, the team’s director, will accompany them to Dubai and India, respectively. On October 6, Pakistan will play its first World Cup encounter against the Netherlands.
