Park in G10 Inaugurated by CDA
Islamabad: According to press accounts, City Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amir Ali Ahmad opened a new park in Sector G-10/4 on March 14 as part of an ongoing effort to green the capital. Due to its proximity to the Margalla Hills, the new park’s name is ‘Hill Park.’

The park continues the CDA’s attempts to make the capital city greener and more environmentally friendly, according to reports. Chairman Amir remarked that the authority would increase the forest cover of the capital during the tree-planting program of the current year. This spring, he claimed, 300,000 plants will be planted. Additionally, he initiated the forestry initiative by planting trees in the newly established park. This time, the park was covered with 500 plants. Chairman Amir asked park employees to guarantee that all municipal facilities, including adequate lighting, pathways, jogging tracks, chairs, and children’s swings, are accessible to visitors.

The CDA has recently pledged a number of tourist-attracting parks, including a gigantic Ferris wheel (perhaps styled after the London Eye).
