Parking Plaza Inaugurated at Lahore Airport
According to news reports, Federal Minister of Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan inaugurated the three-story parking plaza at Allama Iqbal Airport in Lahore. The facility costs PKR 7.5 billion has the potential to simultaneously store 3,800 automobiles.

According to reports, the parking plaza has three underground and one ground-level parking spaces constructed to international specifications. In 2017, building on the aforementioned parking plaza commenced.
Shaukat Ali, Secretary of Aviation and Chairman of the CAA Board, announced in a separate development that Civil Aviation land will be leased out to produce money and economic prospects.
In this context, he added, a Civil Aviation strategy will be unveiled soon. In addition to promoting tourism, the proposed policy will reduce the cost of the projects and promote regional connectivity.

The CAA is focusing its efforts in this regard on the building of helipads and passenger lounges. Mian Tariq Misbah, president of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), claimed that the policy demands public-private partnerships to facilitate business.
