PC-I Submitted for Urban Regeneration for Leh Expressway
According to a news report, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has submitted a PC-I for final permission for the feasibility study of the urban regeneration project along the Leh Expressway and Flood Channel.

To start the bidding process, the administration has also submitted a new PC-I for the creation of a management unit for the Leh Expressway Project. The anticipated costs of the two project designs are PKR 104 million and PKR 23.7 million, respectively.
The Planning and Development Working Party (PDWP) was contacted by the Punjab Planning and Development Board “coming week in Lahore for the clearance of feasibility study of urban regeneration project,” according to a report from a representative of the RDA.
The source further disclosed that a feasibility study will be conducted by the civic authority in this regard and that the provincial government plans to create economic zones along the Leh Nullah. RDA also intends to enlist investors to help develop the region and build commercial buildings. Also noted was the authority’s intention to construct new structures.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has examined the Leh Expressway project and instructed the provincial government to speed up the construction on it.
