The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering introducing digital ticketing for selected enclosures during the upcoming 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which will be held from March 26 to May 3.

According to sources, the digital ticketing system may be introduced for VIP and Premium enclosures at stadiums in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.

If implemented, spectators in these sections will be able to enter the stadium by showing their tickets online instead of using printed copies. The move is intended to make the entry process faster and reduce long queues at stadium gates.

In another decision, the PCB has announced that ticket prices for this year’s tournament will remain affordable. For PSL 11 league matches, ticket prices will range from Rs. 300 to Rs. 3,000.

The 11th edition of the league will feature eight teams, including two new franchises, Pindiz and Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen. A total of 44 matches will be played over a 39-day tournament.

The event will begin on March 26 with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen at their home ground.

According to the tournament format, each team will play 10 matches during the league stage, with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs.

The knockout stage will include Qualifier 1, the Eliminator, and Qualifier 2, followed by the final on May 3 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. A reserve day has been scheduled for May 4.

PSL 11 will be played across six venues in Pakistan. Faisalabad and Peshawar will host PSL matches for the first time, alongside Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
