The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Multan Sultans and issued a termination notice over an alleged contract violation.
According to reports, the action came after Multan Sultans’ owner, Ali Tareen, made public comments criticising PCB policies, which the board viewed as a breach of agreement.
PCB officials said the franchise failed to meet certain league requirements and has been formally warned of termination. If the issue is not settled soon, PCB may start looking for a new team owner before the next PSL season.
The decision has created uncertainty about Multan Sultans’ future in the league.
