PDA Worked Partially Developed Portions of Ring Road Rawalpindi
PESHAWAR: On Thursday, Faisal Amin Khan, provincial minister of local government and Rural Development Department (RDA), instructed Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) to begin construction on the unfinished northern section of Ring Road.
According to a release, the minister visited the office of the municipal agency and was briefed on new and ongoing development projects. He claimed that the planning and development department will shortly approve PC-I for the undeveloped sector of the Ring Road (PADD). The land acquisition by the municipal government is instructed to be done immediately.

The minister stated that the price would rise due to excessive delay. According to him, the delay in approving PC-I for the restoration of the southern stretch of Ring Road will result in a cost rise of Rs 980 million. According to the PDA, the additional costs will affect the whole Peshawar division. In addition, he ordered the urgent elimination of obstacles in the construction of the final segment of the Hayatabad Detour Road. He stated that the officials should also complete work on other development projects. The government would not compromise the speed or quality of development projects. In addition, he stated that all ongoing and new projects in the province capital should be completed.
