PDWP Approves Rs. 22.011 billion Worth of Development Schemes
The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), with a budget of Rs. 22.011 billion, has approved 7 development initiatives from diverse sectors.
Sources claim that Sohail Anwar, the secretary of the P&D Board, presided over the approval at the eighth PDWP meeting of the current fiscal year.

The following are the approved development plans, according to the specifics:
- Costing Rs. 10.842 billion, a controlled access corridor facility is being built in Lahore between Niazi Interchange to Babu Sabu Interchange.
- The Tehsil Alipur Lot-2 Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) has a budget of Rs. 2.280 billion.
- Located in Tehsil Kahror Pakka, the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) is budgeted at Rs. 1.454 billion.
- Cluster North Tehsil Kallar Kahar Lot-2, Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase, Rs. 3.518 billion budget.
- Cluster North Tehsil Noorpur Thal Lot-3, Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase, costing Rs. 1.323.092 billion.
- The Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) has a budget of Rs. 1.270 billion and is currently in its pilot phase in Cluster Central-II Pakpattan, Package-5, five revenue villages (Chak 93-D, Chak 15-SP, Chak 16-SP, Chak 23-SP, and Chak 2-KB).
- Road Construction from Amra to Sahana Lok in the District of MB Din (Revised), Rs. 1.322 billion.
All P&D Board members, provincial secretaries, and other senior representatives from pertinent provincial departments were present at the meeting.
