Peshawar Ring Road to Get Alternative Route to Hayatabad
According to news sources, the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has begun building on an alternate road from Peshawar Ring Road to Hayatabad in order to reduce traffic congestion.

The development of the Peshawar ring road and the extended route (connecting the ring road to Jamrud Road in Khyber district) will shift heavy traffic from the central city to the outskirts and reduce traffic congestion on Canal Road, Kohat Road, all nearby service roads, and in Hayatabad. This will also make it simpler for automobiles traveling from southern districts to reach government offices and public and private hospitals in Hayatabad.

To ensure a regular flow of goods into Torkham, development of the ring road will shortly commence. The authorities has acquired the appropriate land and paid the landowners for it; next, constructions on the acquired property will be removed.
