Pakistan Super League’s Rawalpindi franchise, Pindiz, has confirmed its coaching staff ahead of PSL 11, appointing former South African all-rounder Justin Kemp as head coach and West Indies legend Courtney Walsh as bowling coach.
The franchise also announced that former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq will serve as president and mentor, while former Pakistan spinner Abdur Rehman will take on the role of strategy head.
Justin Kemp has developed a strong reputation in coaching since retiring from professional cricket. He has worked in various franchise and domestic setups, focusing on player development, match planning, and modern T20 strategies.
Joining him in the coaching staff is Courtney Walsh, one of the most respected fast bowlers in cricket history. As a bowling coach, Walsh is expected to guide the team’s pace attack and bring valuable experience to the squad.
His presence is likely to strengthen the team’s bowling unit, particularly during key phases such as the powerplay and death overs. Walsh is also expected to work closely with Pakistani fast bowlers like Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir, helping them improve their strategies, consistency, and decision-making during matches.
PSL 11 will be the first season of the league to feature eight teams, with Pindiz among the two new franchises entering the competition.
With an experienced coaching group led by Kemp and Walsh, the franchise appears focused on making a strong impact in its debut season rather than taking a gradual approach to the tournament.
