PLRA Launches Another Line for Online Booking
Gujrat: The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has stated that it will expand its online pre-appointment capability for service delivery to land owners at its Arazi Record Centres (ARCs) located throughout the province.

The PLRA decided to open a second phone line in addition to the existing one after a PLRA representative informed officials that clients were encountering issues obtaining online service bookings due to system congestion.
According to PLRA data, the proportion of individuals obtaining online fard (property ownership document) has climbed from 11,000 to about 100,000 annually, as at least five million people use the service at 211 ARCs and 20 mobile ARCs across the province.

The PLRA’s supply of services at the local level generated Rs 22 billion for the national treasury in the previous fiscal year, according to the agency’s spokeswoman.
