PM Imran Initiates Mobile App to Ease out CNIC Applicants
Prime Minister Imran Khan has unveiled a mobile phone application created by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to assist applicants seeking any change or update in their computerized identification cards (CNIC) or who wish to obtain their first ID card.

Using the smartphone’s camera, the Pak-ID mobile app assists with biometrics and document scanning, according to an official statement made on Tuesday.
Premier Imran praised NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik’s unique idea of the smartphone application, which is a step toward realizing the PM’s vision of inclusive registration and digital Pakistan.
All citizens, including expats, will be able to digitally record fingerprints, pictures, and documents via a smartphone app.

According to the statement, this is a major advancement that puts an end to the traditional methods of processing identification documents.
Pak Identity is downloadable via the Google Play Store (Android) and the Apple Store (iOS).
