PM Imran Launches Naya Pakistan Card, Housing Loans, Scholarships
Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the centerpiece welfare project of the Naya Pakistan Card program in Peshawar on Wednesday, according to the most recent reports. This project would encompass numerous health, education, food, and agriculture initiatives.
According to the sources, the prime minister also claimed that the federal government is about to start the Kamyab Pakistan program to provide a low-interest home loan of up to PKR 2.7 million and an interest-free loan of up to PKR 400,000 to approximately 2 million families. In addition, the plan provides scholarships for 6,3 million students nationwide. The Prime Minister’s Office has already formed a surveillance unit for this purpose (PMO).

In addition, the Naya Pakistan Card will cover the Ehsaas Ration Program during COVID-19. Under the concept, households with a monthly income of less than PKR 50,000 would be eligible for support for basic consumables.
